Summer is turning into fall, and as the seasons change around our Pearland apartments, a lot of people get the itch to travel. If you count yourself among that group of travel fanatics who get that itch every year around this time, you’ve come to the right place. This week’s blog is all about traveling, vacation destinations and affordability. We’ll be sharing tips relating to which cities and countries are super popular among travelers hoping to see a cool place without spending a fortune on drinks, meals and hotels.
We love having you at Stella at Shadow Creek, but we understand that everyone needs to get out and about every once in awhile. After all, the end of the year is fast approaching, and those precious PTO days aren’t going to spend themselves. If you know you want to travel but you don’t know where you want to go, check out the blog post below! Oh, and when you’re done reading through this week’s blog, please be sure to share the link to this page with your friends and neighbors at your community of apartments for rent in Pearland!
If you want to experience a European culture without, you know, actually going to Europe, we recommend flying north to Montreal. Most people speak French there, but you won’t have to deal with the kinds of expensive prices and touristy traps that you would if you were to travel to Europe. Montreal is unbelievable in the summer, as it hosts multiple festivals, offers plenty of park space in which to sprawl out, and feature some of the friendliest people in North America.
If you’re into mountain biking, hiking, or you just like to soak in gorgeous views, head to Moab, Utah for a weekend of adventure. The landscape in the two nearby national parks will make you feel like you’ve been teleported to Mars, but you’ll also be within a few miles of the city of Moab. This town has plenty of breweries, shops and restaurants for you to come back to after a long day of exploring Canyonlands National Park and Arches National Park.
Located off the coast just a few miles from Puerto Vallarta, Verana is a tiny boutique hotel that’s off-the grid but on our list as one of the coolest escape destinations of 2018. It’s surprisingly affordable during off-peak seasons, with rates as low as $220/night and $95 per day for three meals. The hotel package can include adventures if you want it to such as jungle excursions and scuba diving trips. You’ll have to fly into Puerto Vallarta, drive down to the beach, and get a boat ride from there, but we think it will all be worth it for a relaxing stay at this hotel.
Those are all the vacation destinations we’ve got the share with you this week, residents! As always, we greatly appreciate those of you who’ve been coming back week after week to read the latest brand new blogs from Stella at Shadow Creek, and we hope that you’ll come back to read our new posts in October! We’ll be back with more blogs before you know it.
